About
Matthew brings a rare combination of technical education and hands-on field experience to every project. Raised in Colorado, he began his career in construction focusing on concrete work and carpentry. He went on to earn a degree in Physics from UC Santa Barbara, then spent several years in landscape construction and electrical work before transitioning into residential drafting, permitting, and construction.
For the past five years in Ojai, Matthew has managed job sites as both project manager and foreman, overseeing projects ranging from custom new builds and bathroom remodels to bringing existing structures up to code. This blend of technical training and practical expertise informs his approach: an emphasis on efficiency, clear communication, and delivering work that not only satisfies permitting requirements but is genuinely well-built.
